Took my colt to have him castrated. He checked to see if both had dropped before he sedated him. He proceeded without saying anything so I assumed it was good to go. He gives him 2 shots of sedation and has him down in about 5 minutes. Then feels around and said oh he’s a crypt, then charged me $120. Literally, 2 shots and 10 minutes of his time. Apparently an exam fee is $100, and each shot of sedation is $55 so he was already doing me a favor. Doesn’t make sense to me when the whole castration was only $220. I have used th... read more
My whole Family loves this place. From Cows to dogs and cats, they care for them and show a genuine love for your animal. We have lost dogs that was “our” family, and they’ve had tears also. Friendly staff means a lot!! Thanks Southland Veterinary!! 🐶🐷🐰🐴🐱🐮🐯🐵🐒🐎🐈🐄🐕🐩🐾❤️
The staff at Southland have always been very kind and professional! The vet tech who took care of one our dogs that had parvo, called to check on him several times after he came home! We also board our pug when we travel, and have always been very pleased! We highly recommend Southland if you need a vet!
