Hands down the WORST customer service I have ever encountered in Canada. We called the store we purchased our extended warranty through last week when our washing machine stopped working. They told us to contact Southland, we called and they asked for the receipt, we sent it straight away. They told us a technician would be coming to fix it on October 7th and we'd get a call on the 6th. RecommendedRecently dropped off my tv for repair. The staff was very friendly, helpful, and professional. The repair estimate has not been sent yet, so I can’t speak to their prices. But great experience with southland technical services overall.
Brand new LG dishwasher had a faulty drain hose. LG sent a tech from Southland Technical Services. The tech came within a few days and confirmed the problem to be a factory defect. New hose was ordered and delivered in about a week. Tech (David) installed new hose and hooked up machine. Running without problems so far. No issue with Southland’s service.
Next time: Bring the correct parts, keep correct records, don't overcharge your customers.
Very disappointing service. Made an appointment with Southland Technical to fix our LG dishwasher. LG booked the appointment for us and online they are advertised as our service provider (the only listed through LG's website). After waiting well over a week for an appointment, Southland Technical cancels our appointment at the last minute. They say we are out of their service area. The absolute stupidest women answering phones and booking appointments. They ask for your details 10 times. You tell them what day you can do an appointment and they call you back and TELL you your appointment is changed! They did this twice!!! And when you call LG who actually refer this company to do their repairs LG tries to sell you a service plan. My LG OLEG tv had an intermittent fault with some pixels, causing annoying lines to appear from time to time. And these guys gave us a new TV for free!!
Arthor did a great job repairing our dishwasher dispite the fact he had to make a second visit due to the fact LG didn't send all required parts on the first visit. We are very happy with Southland Tech Services but not so happy with LG.
