HORRIBLE is to good of a word but I can't think of a bigger word for these slum Lords!!! IF I COULD GIVE THEM A NEGATIVE ZERO I WOULD!! My mother rented from these terrible people for almost two years and her experience as a 83 year old woman has been absolutely terrible!! Good experience during my lease, but awful experience at the end. The manager charged us $1000 dollars for minor repairs such as Batteries, AC filter, and, "etc" (Who use your deposit money and describe it as "etc"?). When asked about "etc", the manager sent me an invoice describing $600 (from the total $1000) in labor expenses. Terrible.

I have always had very good maintenance repairs. The staff at the office were very courteous, respectful and helpful. Yes I would recommend Southland Properties. Fabulous company!!

Southland Properties has been a negligent, unprofessional company for over a decade — and they’re still getting away with it. I had problems with them 10 years ago, and now someone close to me is going through an even worse experience in a property they manage. A critical repair that made the unit unlivable dragged on for over a month, even though it was something that should have been handled in a few days, maybe a week at most.
