I'd give negative stars if I could!! Who thought it'd be a good idea to run the incoming paramedics & patients through the ER waiting area????! Plus, it's still the regular exit 🤦♀️ Not only is it incredibly chaotic & noisy, but paramedics are left waiting around with bulky stretchers or wheelcairs, some almost bumping into standing/sitting ER patients. Nevermind the poor patients' accompanying family/friends. I can't even hear if my name is being called, as I was told to listen for when checked in! It's already so stressf... read more
Slow service especially were you first check Kids will have to wait awhile before seeing a doctor .
Father went in, couldn’t eat, couldn’t sleep, unbearable stomach pain. They did an x-ray and told him it was arthritis in his back? Prescribed narcotics and sent on his way. Week later, pain still an issue, went to Markham Stouffville with issues remaining. Doctor here knew how to do her job. Completed a ct-scan and found a stomach ulcer. Complaint for this doctor is headed to the college of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario. 4 years ago he went to south lake for a torn muscle. Always too busy with long waiting times. But usually the staff is very helpful and friendly.
Hospitals are not the most pleasant of places but we need them and the health care professionals who take care of us and our loved ones. I want to thank the EMS, emergency dept nurses and the ISU nurses who took care of my mom this past week. The EMS who brought my mom to the hospital was incredible as she provided accurate information to helped to triage my mom. The nurses in emergency did their best to make my mom comfortable while we waited for the doctor to assess whether she was going to be admitted. When she was admitt... read more
