The workout was amazing, they have the best sauna out of all YMCA. The temperature is "RIPE" all the time, soon as you walk into the room
I recently lost almost 100 lbs and decided to start working out. The YMCA staff has been so helpful and encouraging on exercises , classes so that I can enjoy working out. And it Is a big help that most classes can have drop ins instead of registration like other Y's. With my schedule I never know if I am going to be able to leave the house. I would recommend southington YMCA for anyone especially those returning to exercise for a supportive and friendly environment!
I love the Y. There is a wide variety of classes as well as weights and machines to mix up my workout. All of the instructors challenge, support, and make exercise fun. You cannot beat the options and value at the Southington YMCA.
I think it's great. I can do spin classes with my Wife, workout with friends and lift weights, and watch my son learn how to swim in the pool with the lessons they offer. The staff is always so nice as well.
