Law school students beware… The water has been shut off for hours up to days at a time at Southgate Towers. There have been three incidents so far within my one year lease.
I will try not to make this post too long but I must be absolutely honest with myself and Southgate Towers. I have lived at Southgate for the past 4-5 years. There’s NO where else in Baton Rouge that I’d want to move to!! Rental rates are competitive, and by competitive I mean that the amount of square footage in the apartments, included expenses within the rent, amenities, location, etc. …a nearby complex would charge double the price in this area. Overall I have had a good expirence with Southgate. Minor replacements had to be made but the process was fairly smooth. Air stays in the place pretty well, and hot water is plentiful.
I love the apartment I have, close to everything on campus and even off campus. 10/10 would recommend!
