I have been in an apartment for 3 years and unable to use my balcony because the patio door has not been able to be opened. The floor underneath the patio door and along the wall is rotting. This is causing the patio doors to collapse in the middle leaving gaps along both sides open to the outside. This has been what has been causing it. I had to fill that with bubble wrap and duct tape.
