I was rescheduled twice - a Shaun showed up, spent a few minutes looking over my pilot light issue and said he couldn’t fix it and tried to sell me a new insert for $2700 … AND charged me $225 to tell me this. Wanted a second opinion so I called Alpine Fireplace. Showed up when he said he was going to and told me all I needed was a $95 part. Less than $250 altogether for part and installation. I loathe scammers. Will tell ALL my neighbors to go with Alpine.
Took three trips and three months for job to be completed. Always parts delays etc. I had to keep calling business to find out when parts would be in and when job would be completed. I replaced my current fireplace because blower stopped working and I could not get a replacement blower for it. I let salesperson know I wanted a fireplace with a blower. When all was said and done, I realized I was sold a fireplace w/o a blower - (partly my fault because I should have read the recommended fireplace specifications more care... read more
