I had back surgery at the end of March, I started Aqua therapy 2 weeks later. The warm water and the gentle resistance does wonders for your pain and healing. You will gain strength and confidence quickly as you increase your speed and stamina on the underwater treadmill. After 6 weeks I graduated to "land" and the kind of PT / Yoga stretching therapy has been great for not only my back but over all core strength and well being. Very expensive you end up with just 30 mins in pool

I'm so sorry you felt it was expensive, therapy visits are covered by insurance and the patient's only responsibility is their individual co-pay or co-insurance. We do start out at approximately 30 minutes in the pool, as tolerated based on condition and pain level. As a patient continues through therapy and they progress, their time in the pool may be lengthened- again, depending on their condition, tolerance, and progression through therapy. We would love to have you come back to Bodyworks anytime!
