Gardening resource I love to variety at this store. There is a little it of everything. They have a lot of plants, bushes and trees. The staff is very knowledgeable to make suggestions
Bad potting soil I had a terrible experience with the southern states potting soil and their costumer service. I got a couple of bags of this soil and they were infested with mosquitoes larvae. I used the soil to repot my favorite indoor plants and For months I have been battling the infestation. Since this happened late in my pregnancy I did not have the energy and time to repot the plants again and when I called to report the problem the store costumer service person said nothing could be done since they could not control ... read more
Southern States Co-Op is one of the best stores in the area I love this store. They have such a variety of merchandise. I can go for one plant and end up with bird seed, dog food, flower pots and at least a dozen plants. Staff very helpful even to telling you which plants will grow in your area, sun, shade, etc.
Great garden resource I've been buying plants and gardening materials here for a few years, but I had an exceptional experience this spring when I was looking to expand my garden and improve my soil quality. The woman who helped me gave me a lot of information on how I could help my soil and helped me plan out the look of my garden, and all the information came with suggestions for things to purchase but no pressure at all. Southern States is the only place I go when I need plants or garden advice.
Have a little bit of everything I love Southern States for their plants, seeds, landscape materials and just about everything else they sell. They have a very knowledgable staff about their plants and have often given me great advice about landscape plant selection. Love em.
