When I was a truck driver and in my regular travels, I always hit the BBQ joints. If I see it busy, I’ll stop. If I can Sniff it out before I see it, it’s a “MUST stop”. Southern soul was just that. About 11-12 years ago. I had a delivery on SSI. I had a delivery about a 1/2 mile away, As soon as I got out of the truck I picked up the sent and ask the guy on the dock Who’s got the smoker going ?
