Simply the best!
We went for the first time yesterday, and overall it was pretty disappointing. I ordered the barbecuban and it was great other than the total lack of pork. There may have been three scant tablespoons in the entire sandwich. I was full and only ate half, but the cheese and mustard overwhelmed due to the ration of pork. My husband ordered the burnt ends. They were huge, barely burnt at all, chunks of pure chewy fat that tasted more like corned beef than beef brisket. Sauce couldn’t save them. We will probably try again because... read more
We go out of our way to visit every time we are in town. Rivals my favorite Texas bbq place and I’m a born and bred Texan. Just love the turkey and fried okra! Brisket holds a candle to Texas brisket, which most Georgia bbq places just can’t get right!

Sanctioned Certified BBQ Judge as well as a competitor here (multiple sanctioning bodies). When I've competed I've never not won a brunswick stew competition; never. Theirs is perhaps better than mine. Frankly I'd like to swap recipes with you to see the differences. I had the pulled pork sandwich. It was fantastic; great levels of spice and smoke.
