Love this place! Sweet people and amazing nourishment!!
Food was amazing ! When my daughter and I went there , the place was pretty busy and the only tables were outside . It was super hot out so he put together a makeshift table for us inside ! Will be back again very soon !!
Picked up lunch for my better half and me a bit ago. 2X "The Turtle" over rice, side of cornbread and two "wild poppy" drinks. Just what we needed on a rainy Sunday, part work day, part who knows what. The "wild poppy" drink I chose was Blood Orange Chili. I did not see the "Chili" part on the bottle, so that was a surprise! It was our first foray at Southern Roots, but it surely will not be our last. Oh, another plus ... they use cardboard to-go containers. No plastic or styro! When does the cookbook come out?
