I had someone from Southern Roofing & Renovations come out and check my gutters for possible repair or replacement. I was told that I would get an estimate by noon the next day. I never got it. I called a couple of days later and was told someone would contact me the next morning. I never heard back at all. Completely ghosted.
Please do not use Southern Roofing. We were contacted by Michael Smith in March, 2025. He started the process with our insurance company to get a new roof. Southern kept going back and trying to get our insurance company to pay more money. They tried to get us to upgrade the roof. Michael left the company. We then got Alex. He was fired. We finally got the roof on June 23. It was curling around the edge. I asked the installers, and they said it would lay down in a couple of days. Weeks went by. they finally fixed the roof leak but now they wont come finish the inside. Its been months and mold has started to grow.
I would have put a better review had they not swindled me out of an additional $3000. The initial quote for anything extra outside of my insurance was $1900, that's what I signed the contract for. They went back to my insurance and haggled them up to $4700. Be careful with this company, you'll lose money, and you won't even have the professionalism to go with it.
