I would only recommend this practice, especially Dr Yuen Leow, if you want your hereditary connective tissue disorder, that you have proven immediate family history of and that he demonstrated VERY POOR knowledge of, to be completely medically gaslit and put down to "emotions". Another doctor crying hysterical female instead of actually listening to you or looking at the family history. Absolutely avoid unless you want to leave very distressed and crying. Dr. Bita Omidvar has been a game-changer for me after a disappointing experience with another doctor. Her thorough examination and amazing care plan have significantly reduced my pain and stiffness. She genuinely listens to and cares about her patients. I highly recommend Dr. Bita for anyone seeking top-notch rheumatological care in Melbourne.
We visited Dr Bita Omidvar a few times for the treatment of couple of our family members. It appeared to us at each of our consultations that she was unable to diagnose the ongoing issue or in other words it seemed that she couldn't understand the possible cause and diagnosis and/or layout a treatment plan for the patient. She sounded very vague in her opinions, non-confident and unclear, and her lack of understanding seemed quite apparent. We don't think we'll see her again. Its been a sad experience :(
Relatively quick to get in and see someone. The Doctor was very thorough and took his time. Reception staff was nice, not far from public transport.
