Worst experience I've experienced with a commercial contractor. Im a disabled plumbing contractor these people and tried to get over on me. If you do business with these folks be sure to read your contract. They tried to get me for over 20k. I was awarded another project with them and once I corrected them on their misunderstanding of their own contract the project was pulled and given to someone else. I purchased a home built by Southern Post Construction in McAllen, TX, owned by Charlie Cavazos, in November 2024. Since the purchase, I have experienced multiple issues that Mr. Cavazos has failed to address, despite a signed one-year warranty included in the purchase agreement. Based on my experience, Mr. Cavazos has shown a pattern of not standing behind his work. I strongly urge any prospective buyers to do their homework before working with Mr. Cavazos or purchasing a home from Southern Post Construction. Ask him to arrange a meeting with the most recent homeowners who purchased from him in 2023 and 2024. If he has truly delivered the high-quality homes he advertises, I’m sure no satisfied customer would hesitate to speak with you, but that kind of transparency has not been part of our experience.
