Very nice manager, cute apartments. Great price and I can have my cats!!!🥳
Excellent place to live if you're looking for somewhere quiet and away from the parties but with a quick drive up Route 51 to campus. There is also a bus stop steps away which was very convenient when my car was in the shop. Building was nice and costs were reasonable. David Miller, the landlord, was very understanding when I had to take a semester off rather suddenly for medical reasons. When I return to SIU, I definitely plan to live here again.
I lived in a one bedroom apartment in Southern Pointe Apartments for a year and my experience was great. The 2200 building is tucked into a private little fenced in corner with Arnie's sandwiches and Arnold's Market (both Carbondale staples) right down the street. SIUC is only a mile away and I easily got there by bicycle when the weather was nice. The SIUC bus system, Saluki Express, also has a stop right next to the building and students can ride for free.
