I called yesterday morning and was able to get an appointment with Dr. Hester that morning. The staff of SOS is accommodating and professional. Dr. Hester seeks first to treat the condition as needed at that time. While he is a surgeon, that is not his first treatment recommendation. He takes the individual’s other health issues and situations into consideration when determining what is best for that patient. I highly recommend Dr. Hester and his staff.

I’m am well pleased with my appointment timing and the wait time was not as bad as some Dr. Appointments ! He evaluated my hip and my X-ray gave me 4 options and we agreed on new hip replacement but my a1c is too high and he told me to get it below 7.8 or lower and then he would put me a replacement hip in ! I am pleased with that but disappointed that my a1c is not going down as fast as I need it to !
I visited Southern orthopedics to see Dr. Hester on yesterday. I was referred to him by a friend of mine and I must say everything that was said about Dr. Hester was true. He’s absolutely a great physician. He’s thorough on time and takes time to listen at the patient, I would recommend Dr. Hester to anyone who has any type of Joint issues.
