This is a much easier way to get a colonoscopy than the hospital!
I had my colonoscopy today at the Southern Ontario Endoscopy Centre, and I can’t say enough good things about my experience. Every member of the staff was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and took the time to explain each step of the procedure, which made me feel comfortable and at ease. Dr. Khalil and the anesthesiologist were both outstanding—professional, kind, and reassuring throughout the process. This was a much better experience than having the procedure done in a hospital. The staff at this centre do a great job of making you feel at ease for your procedure, and very helpful following it.
I was afraid being as I had a colonoscopy at hospital. I also at a different time had a gastroscopy(upper GI). They did not put me asleep for the colonoscopy. You lay on a steel table. With the gastro they put me to sleep but I woke up cause they had given me the max needle I could have. Scary and choking till till they finally pulled it out.
