It is sad that this place is called a medical center. When my sister found that she had cancer this is where she had to go because of her insurance. It has been a circus of incorrect appointments and ineffective treatment. SOMC sets appointment, sends electronic confirmations, and when she arrives they tell her they have nothing scheduled. Cancer is not like having a cold. No one that she has seen has shown compassion or understanding of how fearful cancer is for the patient and their family.
