The experience we had at the ED today was top notch. Everyone moved with urgency and purpose. We couldn’t have been more impressed with the amount of time that we were there, regardless of the very high volume of patients. Everyone was kind and thoughtful but our nurse, Manny and Doctor, Dr. T were phenomenal. We were so overjoyed with Dr. T and how he communicated with us and evaluated our daughter for a head injury. Doctor in the er made me wait an hour. Was in for two minutes. Waiting with no communication. This place is run like garbage. No urgency. I literally should have driven two hours home to a better hospital. Still waiting for any treatment. Almost 4 hours since i got here. Nurse was good everything ekse is awful. Ct results came back 40 minutes ago. Still waiting for the doctor. The er doctors dont give a damn.
We have used other hospitals in the HMH network of facilities. But recently we received an omnibus bill from HMH regarding the care of my late wife (who passed in April). The bill includes a treatment from Southern Ocean for Feb. 3, 2025 (the whole family, including Grace, was out of town, 90 miles away, for a wedding through the evening of 2/2/25, so I have no record of this visit.)
