Brought my truck in for a misfire issue and left it with them. Got an update that day saying here’s the issue and we can fix it by tomorrow. They told me the price and I said ok great. Next day I go to pick up the truck and I’m asked to pay almost $200 more than I agreed to. I have issues with this of course because everytime I’ve ever been told by an auto shop it’s going to cost this to fix I have paid that amount. After going back and fourth they lowered the price down to close to the original quote but still not the right... read more

Since 2003, Southern Motor Works on Buford Hwy has been a standout in Duluth’s auto repair scene. I brought my daughter’s 2005 Hyundai Elantra - old but roadworthy with 65k miles - for a routine fix and left impressed by their transparency and authentic charm.
