I have had accounts with SMB-T since forever. Now they start charging a $7 fee for going below their minimum balance and it only has to be ONE day during the month. Other places are getting away from fees but they re adding them. Time to find new financial institution.
RecommendedSMB&T has been my bank since I moved to Coldwater from Cincinnati in 2006. They provide excellent financial services!

No I can't say that can recommend them for my friends now.
Account canceled as of 8-13-19 and not like they cared one bit. less then 24 hours below the limit and get $7 stolen from me, then get told pretty well deal with it on the phone so good bye. I hope $7 was worth the almost $1200 I took out, what a brain dead business decision! Here's calibrating Camden closing and hopefully all gone will follow. PS, go to FSB and get no fees.
******UPDATE****** as of 3/26/19 1st of all I'm not to down or talk badly about this... Just want to give an honest review for customers like me.. it just shows how "greedy" this financial institution has become when they literally take the last few dollers out of my account for their service charge.... currently in the middle of transferring my accounts to another Financial institution.( It's definitely not easy after having this account for YEARS!) Stop offering perks and be a bank. The new checking accounts are nothing but a ripoff to your customers. Most people have these perks either from work, credit cards, etc. By moving ahead with these programs, you show you are only interested in fees. People need to wake up and see what's going on.
