I would never recommend this bank for countless reasons, but first and foremost being that they transferred my funds, without my knowledge or consent, into an account that charged $7/month. Then, once the funds were exhausted, they closed my account, again, without my consent or knowledge. When I went to withdraw my funds, they informed me of this happening. I have banked for years with Southern Michigan Bank & Trust. Always friendly when you walk in or go they a drive thru. Loan officers are great to work with and quick to get things done!! Just wish we had an ATM in Bronson Michigan.
I switched to this bank because of the fee free checking, and now they penalize you $7 if you are less than $100 for one day in a month. The new perks checking is absolutely ridiculous!! Why would I pay a bank for cell phone insurance?? And who remembers to click some link to shop to earn back stuff?? It's just another way to scam you out of money.
ATM hardly ever works, charges double what you take out
