My doctor sent a referral to MaineHealth Dermatology on Aug 19th. I called every week spanning over 5 weeks. Each time I called the same receptionist told me it was not entered as of yet (or found) but not to send a new referral as they were very backed up and to wait another week. The 4th time I called (today) they said that they still could not locate it but they were behind over 1900 referrals. My doctor called out and I guess they decided not to let me know? I took the day off with a month of planning for this appointment. Was told they can’t get me back in for a month.
