Jan and her staff were great to work with. I rented a townhouse in south Charlotte that was managed by Southern Living Property Management. They were professional, responsive and enjoyable to work with. My enquiries were quickly answered and any service requests, especially related to the HVAC system, were dealt with quickly. They scheduled yearly service calls and were pro-active in managing the property. I wouldn't hesitate renting from them again.
If I could give this "company" a zero star I would. This company is extremely unprofessional. Please do yourself a favor and run! We lost thousands of dollars because of this Companie's negligence. Jen was very mediocre to say the least at her job. She rented our property to scammers (we later found out they were scammers). Did everything online and never even bother to meet these people she trusted our property with. She didn't even bother to go remove her lockbox from our front door, which says a lot. I had a terrible experience with this company back in 2022. I personally would give 0 stars if I could. To be honest Jan was referred to me by my amazing realtor but Jan really disappointed me. I feel as a property manager you need to be fair for both parties and she never had my best interest. I felt she was extremely rude at times. Every time I asked her about something I felt should be done or corrected she would always give a response of “well I do this is in my house.” And what she does in her house is irrelevant to my ... read more
