Nice little spot tucked away in the middle of downtown coming to next to the courthouse, quiet Considering it's on the main street. There are a lot of cool little restaurants near nearby, and little shops for some local goods, check out the HJ and sons hardware store/ museum for a Journey back in time and stop by Saint John coffee for some good coffee in the morning. Both about a block away.

The Southern Hotel in Covington, Louisiana is the best hotel on the Northshore! The cleanliness, design, friendly staff and location make it unmatched to any other hotel I've stayed at. Not to mention they have one of the best bars in all of Covington, The Cypress Bar. Always a great time and the drinks are incredible. And you cannot forget about the amazing room service that completes your stay. I cannot wait to go back!
The hotel is so cute. It has a great bar that becomes the cafe. The courtyard allows you to sit outside and there are fire pits as well for those cooler evenings. The pool is separated which is genius in my opinion. The rooms are in a hallway with a hall way door that isolates from noise for a restful night. The lobby is so cute and nicely decorated for the season. I love the artwork throughout the hotel.
