We had a good stay recently at the Southern. I have to start by saying the staff are extremely friendly and helpful. We stayed in a suite in what they call the garden house, not the main building. The accommodations were certainly nice enough. The style of this room was one that involved the use of a number of more stylish lamps to light up a room and not a bunch of lamps with no character bolted to the wall. Incredible location, service and amenities.
Beautiful hotel, friendly staff. Gym nearby, pool, great outside area, delicious breakfast.
Hotel is clean and very nice. Staff is great and very accommodating. We traveled with a high energy toddler and the empty courtyard and pool gave us some things to do while we were in the hotel. Be aware that most rooms have only a shower so if you need a bath, you will need to request a larger room.
Great spot! Brandon, Gayle and Crystal are all star employees!
