Treated our dog like her own – We really appreciate the flowers. Thank you. And thank you for all the wonderful care you gave Bamse over the years. Your skilled abilities allowed her to lead a normal life even after all the leg problems she had. We have always felt like you treated her as a member of your family as well as ours.

Love the Thorntons – Waiting a half hour to pick up your pets from boarding? I think that reviewer is exaggerating. I have boarded my dogs at Southern Hills for awhile now and have never had any problem whatsoever. In fact, one of my dogs who has always been shy/nervous around humans is now great with people and I have Southern Hills to entirely thank for that. Great place for animal care – My experience with Southern Hills has always been a pleasant one. The Doctors there care so much about my cats and their health. They always start with a conservative approach in diagnostics and request my permission before performing diagnostics or treatment . I have boarded my cats with them a few times and they always come back looking better than when they were dropped off! I highly recommend this hospital.
Very Helpful – I am disabled and simply cannot get out of my house to take my pets to a veterinarian, so i felt very guilty for calling Southern Hills Animal Hospital to ask them for the name and phone number of a traveling small animal vet. However, much to my suprise, the receptionist was more than happy to help me out even though her establishment would have nothing to gain by assisting me. Go elsewhere – Southern Hills is probably the most poorly run business I've ever encountered. My mom has taken her dog there for years. The most recent visit was the last straw and they have received their last dime from our family. The last visit I was in the office for an hour and forty-five minutes. The first hour was spent in the exam room waiting for the vet to come in and perform the most incomplete check-up I've ever seen.
