TLDR: I would not recommend moving here right now. We just moved in to this location on the 19th. So first issue, our original move in date was the 9th, my wife called to inquire about something on the 5th. It was then we were informed that our move in date would be pushed back, so they didn't initiate the contact or anything. It wasn't until the 6th at 5:44pm that they finally contacted us again to tell us our move in date would be the 19th. Southern Gardens has seen frequent changes in management over my three years as a tenant. Of all the dozens of management teams I've had business with, they are by far the worst in terms of business practice. Literally every single time I've paid rent, I've been informed of a different fee I was charged for various reasons. The worst is the 5-day notice fee; they taped a threatening letter to my door, charged me $35 for it, and didn't tell me until I tried to pay rent, forcing me to go get ANOTHER money order after a long da... read more
