RecommendedDr carter is amazing! He has helped my family so much with our horses! My moms big geldings foot was basically falling apart from the ppl she got him from and dr carter and farrier Keith built his feet back up. He is now completely sound!

Hands down the best equine veterinary care my horses have ever received!! The team work is brilliant, extremely knowledgeable vets and staff. They are all clearly compassionate and empathatetic. A very well oiled machine !! The facility is immaculate . Well worth the drive to Aiken .
Dr. Mitchell did a wonderful job on a pre-purchase exam for us. He really helped us understand and interpret the results of the exam. He was really thorough in his evaluation and very patient in answering our questions. Melissa and the office team were great to work with, and always responsive to our calls and questions. Very knowledgeable and kind vet (we saw Dr. Carter). The staff was very professional and helpful as well. I feel that that my horse is receiving the best care and that is the most important thing for me. I would highly recommend.

I like all the vets there, but especially Dr. Reda. She has taken care of big and little vet care for me and is knowledgeable and compassionate. She is thorough and good at explaining things. She is also accessible and returns calls promptly.
Huge thanks today to Dr. Portia and tech Caroline on their expert and very kind and patient handling of my still somewhat wild donkey, Lily--refugee of the BLM round-ups out west. Lily needed her hooves trimmed, but also needed sedation to allow that to happen. That--giving her the sedative by injection--became the main event (over the trimming).
