Be empathetic and available for care during eye HEALTH emergencies. I (a patient for ~ 9 years) once had an eye issue and now my 12-year-old daughter (a patient for at least 5 years) has an issue and SDEC both times said, "sorry," go somewhere else. I have recommended SDEC to friends for years for routine exams, etc. NEVER AGAIN.
RecommendedDr. Wiener is fantastic. He always explains everything. I’ve been going to him for over 30 years. The staff is wonderful. I would recommend Southern Dutchess Eye Care to everyone.

I recently switched to Southern Dutchess Eye Care and was not only very impressed by the staff members, but I was also impressed and appreciative of the precautions the office took to ensure the safety of their patients. This was my first time being seeing by Dr. Wang and he was wonderful. He was thorough, knowledgeable, he answered all my questions, and he listened. 5 stars!

I have had over 35 years of needing corrective eye wear and have not found a better place than Southern Dutchess Eye Care. Dr Powell is amazing, thoughtful and thorough...the ENTIRE staff was wonderful and have found a forever patient with myself and family!
They were able to get us in last minute on a Saturday for an “urgent” visit and my husband was a new patient also! He said Dr Weiner was great. We appreciate it so much & since we just moved back to the area will be switching to this practice. Thank you!
