RecommendedMy 3 and 5 year old had their first visit today. Dr. Shobe and staff were amazing! Highly recommend for pediatric dentistry. Love that the entire family can go to the same office. I have my first appointment Monday and feel 100% confident it will be a great experience.
My boys love going to the dentist! Dr. Shobe is the best pediatric dentist we have ever used. You can tell he loves kids and is passionate about his job. My husband and I see Dr. Ashton and she is wonderful!

Everyone at Southern Dental makes my wife and I feel like family. The facilities are beautiful and the service is exceptional. We travel an hour from Mount Airy because they are the best!

Highly reccomend for pediatric dentistry. The staff is very friendly, patient, and explains everything thoroughly. My 5 y/o would not let our family general dentist and staff touch him. He was a little hesitant at first, but that on lasted about 5 minutes. He calmly sat through the visit without any issues. The Minions movie playing on a movable TV like screen was the trick! I wish we would have found them years ago!
I cannot thank Dr. Ward enough! he worked on my daughters mouth on 2 seperate occasions and could not complete her root canal because of the infection in the tooth... not only did he give me back the insurance money that HE worked for but also gave me back the money that I paid so that she could get it completed at the endodontics office.... he worked on her mouth and didnt get paid anything .... and these days that really says alot about Dr. wards character and compassion for what he does . I truely appreciate it!!
