I took my 3.5-year-old in today for his very first haircut, and it was truly the best experience! Bri was so warm and welcoming, which instantly put him at ease. Since he has naturally curly hair, I knew I wanted a curl specialist—and Bri exceeded every expectation. His haircut is absolutely perfect! His curls are full of volume, bounce, and look so natural. Couldn’t be happier—A+++!
This salon is amazing for curly hair care, cuts, and styling! I learned so much during my visit and will definitely keep coming back. The team is incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, and the salon itself is gorgeous with a great location. Highly recommend!
I’m a straight-haired mama with a curly-haired little girl. I stumbled upon Southern Curly Girls in my desire to better style my daughter’s hair and I’m so glad I did. Bre took extra care with my hesitant, shy, six year old who has always felt like something was wrong with her hair because it doesn’t look like mine. Bre was beyond caring and wonderful with both me and my daughter. She taught me step by step how to maintain my daughter’s hair and I hugged her in tears before we left. SUCH A GODSEND!
I live in Alaska and was traveling to Birmingham for a work conference. I found Southern Curly Girls Salon through the curly girl map feature from a curly creature I follow on socials. My experience was top notch!!! I started with an appointment for a curly cut but reached out to Bre about my dull mousey color. She set me up with an appointment with Joiya and I couldn’t be happier with how my hair turned out. I might have to start going back to Birmingham once a year to get my hair done.
Go see Bre if you have even remotely curly hair! She is a miracle worker. My hair has never looked better!
