I’ve never had curly hair (side effects of a medication) and was at a loss on how to style it. Joiya took the weight out, showed me the amount of product to use, and how to make it look good. I LOVE IT. She’s the BEST.
I am so happy I found this place! They squeezed me in a short notice, and taught me step by step on how to make my curls actually curl. No more frizz!! The whole experience was amazing and Joiya did a fantastic job. I also love that joiya and Bre are besties so it didn't just feel like another day at any business, it made it a different atmosphere, making it comfortable and enjoyable! 10/10 recommend if you want to learn how to manage and embrace your curls !
Wow! What took me so long! My first
Despite this being my first visit to Southern Curly Girls, I felt right at home as soon as I entered. The waiting area was comfortable and I was able to observe other clients being educated on how to care for and style their own curly hair. As any curly girl will tell you, not everyone knows how to cut curly hair - Joiya and Bre definitely do!
