Very Pleased Let me start by saying that after I read the horrible reviews, I was very hesitant about going to Piedmont Fayette. But I was feeling horrible and decided to go anyway. I got there around 9:30 last night. I was taken back within 45 minutes. I had a sore throte and chest pain when I coughed. They looked @ my throte and did some chest Xrays, and drew some blood. outraged mom! It has been five weeks and I am still waiting on my babys birth certificate to be put in! Ridiculous! I was told that when the birth certificate lady is off, no one is there to do her job and that is the reason for the lateness...hello have you been gone for five weeks?
Piedmont Fayette Hospital is... awful. They need more customer service oriented clerical workers who sign in patients. They need people to answer the phone who are trained in telephone etiquette. They need to smile once in a while. Yes, it is a hospital with sick peole but the employees don't need to look depresses or dead.
Rockdale Medical Center - growing with the community! In a response to the increased community need (and growth), Rockdale Medical Center is currently undergoing alot of expansion and renovation. Currently they offer extensive services for childbirth (at "The Birth Place"), and they have an excellent Woman's Center. We've used their outpatient services on several occasions and have been pleased with the quality of service we've received.
Debbie D Dr. Karen Hacker is wonderful!! She is so easy to talk to and could not be more professional or friendly. Her nurse Delores and the entire office staff are great!! I am very lucky to have found them.
Doctor Dr. Selph is a great doctor. He is very thorough in his diagnosis and he treats his patients with the utmost care. His office staff is very nice. They work with you.
Great care! Dr. Patel is amazing. Her care has moved me further in my return to health than I thought possible. I had a partial thyroidectomy in 2007 and started synthroid following the surgery. My endocrinologist at the time (not Dr. Patel) believed that the low dose I was on would be enough for me to return to health and to lose the weight i had gained due to 2.5 years worth of undiagnosed hypothyroid. Great Doctor!!! I was recently diagnosed with Hashimoto's by my primary care physician and was scared and concerned about how to proceed. I found Dr. Patel online and read her bio and thought I would give her practice a try since it specifically mentioned by disorder was one of their treatment areas. She was GREAT! So down to earth, spent so much time with me, fully explained everything on a level I could understand and completely reassured me and calmed me down. VERY UPSET I went to E.R. at Mountainside Piedmont Hospital. The Dr. was VERY Mean to me and actually called me a liar when I tried explaining what was going on. I realized that she wasn't goint to TREAT me for anything so I refused any further testing and told her I wanted to go home. I have NEVER been treated that way in my life. I went to a Dr. at Piedmont Hospital in Atlanta THE SAME DAY and He gave me a ALBUTEROL INHALER for wheezing and an ANTIBIOTIC and A STEROID PACK.
