Best service ever! It was a time of my life where I thought everything was going to change. I had passed out one night while eating dinner at a restaurant. The ambulance came and stabilized me, but advised that I seek medical attention for possible brain inconsistencies. Fayette Piemont Hospital I have been in the hospital 5 times in my entire life. two babies, one gall bladder removed, two times with bleeding ulcers. The first three were at Southern Regional, known then as Clayton General, the WORST,never ever again will I go to that hospital, forgotten meals, heat lamps left on vaginal stitches after childbirth,indifferent, rude staff. Piedmont Fayette Hospital is... bad at customer service. The ER registrars were rude and the switchboard operator hung up on me. I think the hospital staff needs some customer service training and an attitude adjustment.
Debbie Brogdon I went to Piedmont Fayette Hospital E.R. department twice last week with a flare of my myasthenia gravis, chest pain and left calf pain with swelling. I was there 6 hours. The E. R. physician never examined me but did look at my blood work and EKG. They were pretty good and I was sent home. Two days later, I fell at home (due to weakness) and hurt my ankle, shoulder and ribs. Excellent care and service received Excellent and competent surgeon and medical staff. Attentive and warm nursing staff. Spent Feb 9-28 2009 at the hospital and received the highest quality of care.
Piedmont Fayette Hospital is... the worst ever! Their slogan is "keeping patients informed", which is rubbish. My father in-law had congestive heart failure and pneumonia. No one would give us a straight answer about anything. When we, the family, tried to talk to one of the specialists seeing him, they all tried to pass the responsibility on to another doctor, and would not answer our questions or concerns, and would hurry out of the room like they were running from a fire!! Emergency room visit was for ER. Registration process extremely slow. Watched several administrative employees standing around, talking to each other, eating and making personal phone calls (could tell from listening to their phone conversations) while people were waiting to get registered. once registration process was finished (took almost an hour) things moved a little faster. tirage nurse was great. I know it is an extremely busy ER and I expect to wait but they really need to do something about getting people registered... read more
