I saw a dog looped & dragged by an ACO. I called SAF. They said, "Bring her here". I saw a dog, shot & left in a ditch. I called SAF. They said, "Bring him here". Just 2 of many examples. SAF has my highest regard.

The staff diagnosed and treated my 7lb poodle Monkeee with pancreatitis, it was missed by 2 other vets and had the potential to kill him quickly. Monkeee saved my life and SAF saved his. Forever grateful.

I have transported many animals to SAF. These animals would not be alive today if they hadn't accepted them into rescue. There were many going to die from injuries the shelters were not going to treat but even with the injuries they took them and fixed them up. The only thing that i can find wrong with SAF is the parking and I hate to drive in New Orleans. But it's worth it for the critters.

Pretty disheartening that the story of y'all not returning an innocent dog to it's rightful owner has made it to Lake Charles. This is just plain despicable!

I always take my pets to S.A.F. They really care about animals. When I take my beloved pets there, I have complete confidence that their vets will treat them like they are their own.

SAF pulls from St. John Parish Shelter, and not just highly adoptable, but animals with medical issues that no one else will touch. They have always been great to work with and go above and beyond helping homeless animals in need. I wish there were more clinics that put in as much effort as this one when it comes to shelter and unwanted animals! Keep up the good work!

I don't even know how long I've been going to SAF. They show nothing but care, compassion and concern for me and for my pets. I wouldn't think of going anywhere else or recommending another vet.
