I can’t say enough good things about Dr. Miller and Southeastern Retina Associates. I had surgery for a macular hole five weeks ago, and at my follow-up appointment today—on Christmas Eve, no less (yes, they were working!)—I was told the hole is fully closed. The surgery worked. From the very beginning, Dr. Miller was honest and upfront. 95 minutes in the waiting room, 5 minutes with the doctor.
Thankful they’re working on getting my vision back but the wait time is ridiculous especially time you do get in a room you only in their 15-20 max. So you just spend most of a whole day waiting for hours for a 20 min max for a doctors time. Seriously this is 2025, and it’s a major issue. It’s not just happened once but every single time like so many others
I woke up half blind in one eye. Desperate for answers this was the 2nd specialist I had went to in 24 hours. I noticed the sign on the front desk that read they have a no tolerance for disrespect. I thought it was kind of Strange. But seeing as how I left with tears in my eyes Due to the doctor treating me like I was wasting his time, I see why they had it now.
