In the medical field, the way I’ve always been trained at least, you should never promise or give hope & there’s a reason for this. Our Dr kept giving us hope that my dad could make it, even during his final days. He also said I could call any time I had questions, never once during that week, did he ever call me back, return my messages or even have the audacity to call after everything that happened.
