RecommendedHad a thorough exam and was out in less than 45 minutes. Had a new doctor - Dr. Shah, very nice.

Went here for years with erosion of the retina with great pain and watering and got no relief. Went to Duke Eye Center and was diagnosed correctly the first time and surgery went great.
Dr. Epes performed cataract surgery on my left eye. I was never told by Dr. Kolwaski that Dr. Epes had put the new lens in the wrong place in my eye. Upon visiting my husband's ophthalmologist, he told me what was wrong. I now must have be checked for he pressure in my eye because it can cause Glaucoma. The ophthalmologist does not want to go into my eye unless he has to.
Long story short, I had two prescriptions for glasses that I submitted to another eye center for lenses that were incorrect. I had to have 3 lens made (one from another optometrist) before I could see correctly through my glasses. I wrote Southeastern Eye Center to ask them to reimburse me for the extra $100.00 it cost me for their mistake 6 weeks ago. I have heard nothing back to this date. Beside these errors, they are very impersonal.
I went this week to get my eyes examined, it was an unpleasant experience. I came away feeling like they treated me as an object on an asembly Line -- I went from room to room seeing at least 5 different people and no one adequately answered my questions about cataract surgery. I left confused and seeking another more helpful clinic.
