I was in the Insight Surgical Hospital in Warren 2 times Thurs the 22nd and Tues 27th for cervical neck Surgery. Everyone there was so nice and welcoming. Even the Guy who delivered the food was just the sweetest person ever. I want to really give a shout out to Bob who is the Shuttle Van Driver who delivered me and picked me up on 3 trips. He talked calmly during the trips, he was so assuring that everything would be great. My surgery is is new so I will update on my progress!
First of all, I wanna take a moment and just praise the overall experience at Insight. The physicians, very knowledgeable very thorough at their jobs. They don’t take anything for granted and they only operate if they’re 100% sure it’s the only option. I went through extensive testing before the filing made the determination that doing a lower back fusion was the only option. Dr. Belasher Was awesome. The only thing worse than having a costly medical procedure done is working with amateurs when it comes time to make & execute a payment plan. Unorganized. Still trying to get them to stop trying to collect thru autopay on account that was paid in full more than 2 months ago. I would probably choose a different institution for this very reason alone next time. I don’t need this stress. Do your job.
My son went Dr. Nassart who advised my son to go get a VEP Test (Visual Evoke Potential) test and referred to a place that no longer does testing. He has for months tried to find someone as his symptoms worsen! I left a message with Insight to get back with me to only have 1 of their staff call and whisper in the phone he needs to call someone at his insurance! IVE WORKED FOR THE DMC AND CURRENTLY THE VA and we go above and beyond to help patients and how this was handled was not professional or helpful AT ALL!
