Healthcare is about treating patients, not holding territory. The work was already done for them, yet they consciously chose to undo three months of progress for no reason other than my treatment was prescribed by a different provider. That cost me my job, my promotion, and my home. Since then I've moved to a different provider who reinstated the EXACT SAME treatment I was on before while being baffled by *why* anyone claiming to be a "doctor" would do that kind of harm. I am a direct care worker for one of your patients in Chanute. On Friday her peer advisor removed her and her belongings from her home because of domestic violence but had no place for her to go leaving her homeless. Law enforcement should have been contacted and the abuser removed from the home, not the victim. This is unacceptable and a mental health patient is now in a serious crisis as there is no room in any shelter across the state and all of this is because of her mental health care providers made rash and irresponsib... read more
