So far our experience has been very positive with Mercy Hospital. We have been dealing with Mercy concerning cancer. We have been to the Ballas Rd, Creve Coeur Location, Festus location and the ones in Cape Girardeau. The "My Mercy App" is a real game changer. We use the app for everything from billing to Dr.'s Appt's. It covers the whole patient experience. We have been very happy with the way the doctors, nurses and staff coordinate together and work in unison.
Been fighting billing errors for a year now, taking countless hours of phone calls, document collection, emails, etc. on my part. No one has the power to do an easy fix, even when evidence is clear as day. Their review process for challenged errors is broken. If I didn't keep good records I would have over paid $5000 for errors in their billing. I am beginning to think this is what they count on. It is anything but customer friendly. I see a lawsuit in their future.
The staff are friendly and nice but we where told it wouldn’t take long and we should be in and out, but it take 30 minutes to an hour just to get a room and I’m in serious pain right now like what if I had a bullet in me I’d probably die before they got to me
