Beware! I was the longest survivor they ever had and I was blindsided by a new nurse, Emily Stanley, Dr Basarakodu’s new nurse, who called me and threatened my life. Administration kept telling me I was welcome and did NOTHING wrong but they refused to schedule appointments for me for 6 months, I have stage 4 lung cancer and not an ingrown toenail. BEWARE GOING HERE if you aren't critically ill with major trauma, heart attack or stroke. This review is based on multiple hospitalizations due to complications from a hip fracture, culminated by an ER visit yesterday ranging from the end of December 2024 through 25 August 2025. I want to thank all of the employees of S.E. Health for my care today at the Outpatient Center . Every single employee went above and beyond in their duties of taking care of me. II is an absolute joy to be treated like this. But there were four that need special recognition, in pre-op admissions there was Judy. Been seeing Dr. McRae, he helped my sciatica so much had to go for 2 injections, but he was very thorough and I’m pain free now, they’ve always been very kind, I would recommend to anybody who needs pain management!
From the check-in to the discharge, this is a top performer in every way. My appt got changed from 4 pm to 9 am, but the system wasn’t updated. When I showed up for the morning appt, they said I couldn’t check-in. When I reported the appt change, the front desk clerk said just hold on. She got on the phone and took care of everything in just a few minutes. Then, my check-in nurse was very pleasant and did everything possible to put me at ease about my upcoming procedure.
