With regard to the adolescent unit, this is not really a mental health care facility but more a jail for kids going through mental health crises. If your child is placed here and you are able I would strongly urge you to refuse the placement even if it means waiting in the ER for a week. Frankly they will be better care in the ER. Also if your child has any other medical conditions they are not equipped to handle that.
Everything was excellent. Except, lack of communication at discharge. Need to explain about med changes better to the caretaker.
Very poor communication.
Outpatient rocks. Best around.
