Several years ago I decided to forgo routine dental X-rays after realizing that I was getting a lot of radiation exposure to my head for another health problem and reading about the added risk of dental x-rays (see http://articles.washingtonpost.com/2012-09-10/national/35497544_1_dental-x-rays-bitewings-full-mouth). My whole family goes here. Southdale Dental is great.
I have been going to this dentist for almost 20years, and I love it, they treat me well and answer any questions that i may have, and i have had the same hygenist and they have great interpersonal skills that make you feel 'at home'.
With receding gums and sensitive teeth, I always dread going to the dentist for a cleaning. The dental hygienist that cleaned my teeth was the most gentle one I have ever had.
Everything was wonderful as usual!

The staff is always helpful and friendly and Dr Mjolsnes is simply the best! He will be missed.
Everything was wonderful. I had bleeding gums, but the hygienist was very careful and extremely knowledgeable. Dr. Healy is always nice and friendly.
