I've been going to this place exclusively for the last 25 years. They have always been a little higher priced than other places but usually the customer service made up for it. I ordered a pair of sunglasses from this place and when I received them the lenses was protruding out the front of the frame a ridiculous amount to the point my wife just laughed when I put them on, it looked ridiculous. I recently had to change optometrists due to my former clinic closing. I originally chose Southdale Eye Centre based on location - little did I know then that I would soon get well acquainted with the lovely staff after a series of repeat visits for a persistent eye issue. I've had consults with Dr. Menon and Dr. Chhibba, both of whom were attentive and caring. Not sure if it's common practice for staff to cancel appointments when customers are running late. Being trapped in traffic, I called to let them know that I would be a few minutes late. The staff advised me to book another appointment instead. This clinic does not call or email customers to confirm appointments neither. Well, definitely going with a different optometrist.

Fit me in very quickly, optometrist was friendly, received my glasses in under a week, and everything was reasonably priced especially considering you can try them on in person after/before your appointment.
