This is the only mental heath hospital I’ve been to, I was sent there twice and even though I didn’t like my first trip ( because I never was in that situation) my second trip was much better; the techs did their jobs a lot better and I genuinely had fun my second time around as every night we had a movie night. The only reason I see for this having a low rating is because of the techs not doing a good job and the non smoking policy, but as I said before my second visit the techs did a very good job

If I could give 0 stars, I would. As the caregiver of a loved one, my experience with Southcoast Behavioral State was incredibly disappointing and frustrating. I witnessed what I felt was a lack of appropriate attention to my loved one's needs, poor communication, and an overall lack of professionalism. It was often difficult to get updates or have questions answered, leaving our family feeling uninformed and concerned during an already stressful time. I’m a Therapeutic Mentor working with the client that’s at the hospital. The hospital is always helpful. Maria at the front is a very wonderful person. Maria is very mindful and helpful. Every time that I’m visiting the hospital to see my client it has been a great experience . Maria is always smiling always pleasant it has been always a good experience.
