I'm a minor, Ive been to four hospitals and this one is definitely the worst, I was on the teens unit, staff were uncaring, put me in the wrong age group and never switched me, staff would ignore kids threatening each other until things got physical between them, from what I've heard from other patients staff incorrectly restrained kids, on of them is being investigated for it because they said he put his hand around their neck during a restraint, many patients had relationships with each other and the staff knew yet did not... read more

Sad to say three stars if it wasn’t for the workers that actually Workers there are no classes throughout the day just from 10 to 1030 and 11 to 1130 always ask for doubles because everybody gets double meat except for the person that doesn’t ask if your medicine is filled a week before you come here then you will have an insurance issue and they can’t give you any type of medicine, but they can’t give you nothing so in return they give you nothing so you go Five missed doses of your normal medicine. They stole from my 81 year old grandmother who was kept there by them for 5 weeks. They sent her home w an empty purse. Wallet and 2 sets of keys GONE. I called. Agnes, the irish lady w the accent said they had them. Then when I said I would come get them she started stuttering. Said she wasn't sure. She would pass the message to the tech. The worst psychiatric hospital I've ever been to. Made my mental health drastically worse. Groups are unorganized and even the people who run the groups act like they don't matter. The doctors would wake you up when you're sleeping to take sleep meds. They don't watch their patients which allowed patients to enter into other patients rooms at anytime. I saw somebody enter someone's room, close the door and beat the crap out of another patient. Very unsafe. Doctor's are not helpful. Staff has no control. Honestly the place sh... read more

My mother is being treated by Southcoast, and I've been working with a case worker, Natercia, who has been above and beyond. She's caring, helpful, diligent, communicative, and has made a very tough situation much more manageable. I hope she is recognized for her outstanding work. Thank you, Natercia, for all your help!
