In 2022, clerks should get proper training on how to effectively use technology to better SERVE tax payers. they are, after all, at the SERVICE of the community, and not the other way around. Charging interests trying to cover their mistakes in not al all good customer service or responsible care of tax money.
Southbury have been charging me taxes and interest on taxes and now sent to a debt collector - I haven’t lived in this town or state for years - it’s costing me thousands after the fact - they don’t care and charge about 20pct interest - the property values in this town are crashing - don’t move here -
