Other than the location, there isn't much else to say. We stayed this past weekend and wasn't an enjoyable stay. The lift felt very unsafe. Rattles like it was going to explode. Felt very unsafe. The aircon didn't work. The room was incredibly hot. Had to have the windows open which did not help. The bed was put together with 2 different king single mattress which had a height different between the two. Although the location of the apartments is great, the premise is in a desperate need of renovation. It looks like backpackers hostel rather than a decent accommodation place. Housingkeeping is ok, bedding was more like 1 star hotel with inadequate pillows, and room was suplied with a broken dryer. Wont be staying here ever again.
Beds are sooo comfy, sheets clean. Only 1 flat old pillow each took 2 days of asking to get another one. Were told they don’t have any, but then Alex sourced pillows from another property. Rarely anyone at reception. Sink had poor drainage, toilet dripped. Been staying here over last couple of years and it’s gone up in price and down in cleanliness and service!! Lucky it’s in a great location.
Oh my, the Manager Alex is a piece of work. And if management are reading this, you need to let home go. His treatment of my elderly parents is reprehensible, thank goodness staff member Bianca was there to correct the situation. Probably best not to go there for a while.
1 Star – Terrible Experience, Avoid This Hotel I booked a room at South Yarra Central Apartment Hotel because it said “Free Cancellation.” Later, I had urgent work come up, so I called to change the booking date. The staff said it was already booked, and told me to contact the app I used to book. I did that, and the app contacted the hotel, but they still rejected the request.
