While I'm not a patient here, I want to shout-out South Waterfront Eyecare for accepting the transgender/nonbinary/LGBTQ+ community with open arms. I talked w/the staff on the phone here and they confirmed they can use my pronouns (they/them), and that their entire staff is versed in gender affirming care. My dry eye conditions are managed at the moment, so I did not end up going in for an exam here (I chose a non-specialty clinic that was closer to my home), but it's a relief to know that if my dry eye conditions get worse,... read more
The establishment is clean, and it's in a nice area of town. The staff is friendly and professional. The equipment is state-of-the-art. If you have dry eyes, complex vision needs or want amazing frames (sunglasses too) that are quality-made, this is the place to go :) I receive many compliments on my glasses.
